With Kendrick Lamar and fellow Black Hippy members taking Roseland Ballroom by storm on Tuesday, and a subsequent headlining performance from Ab-Soul last night at SOB’s, New York City might as well legislate this week as an official holiday, TDE Week. Last night, Ab-Soul came out and performed his verses but was joined on stage throughout the night by various artists including Smoke DZA, A$AP Rocky, and of course Kendrick Lamar, who quickly performed his “Backseat Freestyle” before handing back the reigns to Soul.
