Bassnectar – 2013 NYE Recap (BOAC Video)

On New Year’s Eve 2013, Bassnectar returned to Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN for yet another magical experience with over 10,000 raging bass heads, but for those who were in attendance the previous year, this show was much different. For round two, Lorin promised to deliver us with a mind-boggling 360 degrees of bass music by uniquely placing a rotating stage in the center of the arena, far different from your average electronic show. But that’s only one piece of the pie.

On a scale from 1 to 100, the production value was probably a million considering the amount of lights that were setup around the stage, but mainly placed high above providing a behemoth array of colors and patterns onto screaming fans below. And with enough speakers to fill up a more than a couple semi trucks, the music of Bassnectar was elevated to a whole new level. It was by far his biggest (on a production scale) and loudest show to date.

In short, Lorin’s promise of providing us with another memorable NYE was kept (no shocker here to anyone else who’s seen him live) and for us at BOAC, it was truly memorable. We were fortunate enough to get the opportunity to provide fans with an official Bassnectar video recap capturing the genuine experience of a Bassnectar show — pure madness.
