Trails and Ways- Border Crosser (Audio)

Audio Trails and Ways- Border Crosser (Audio)

With an opening whistle reminiscent of  the haunting whistles used by Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill flicks, the new track “Border Crosser” from the upstart Oakland band will instantly capture your attention. That’s a good thing because the rest of the track’s dreamy, happy-go-lucky guitar notes are as engaging as the intro, and just as good.

To be honest, the guys sent over the track yesterday morning, and after a recent check on HypeM, the new song has been played over ten thousand times, landed on numerous blogs, and already reached the Top 10 on the HypeM charts within 24 hours.

The track “Border Crosser” is immigration dreampop in it’s purest form. It was written by our singer KBB as a love letter between his grandparents circa 1942. The melody traces their emigration out of europe, through the middle-east, and finally to the sunny shores of California.

Now we wait for Trails and Ways’ forthcoming full-length album , Trilingual, out next year.
