ZZ Ward Ft. Kendrick Lamar – Cryin’ Wolf (Audio)
How in the hell did ZZ Ward get a feature verse from Kendrick Lamar? That’s one question I need answered. Is it possible that she has that tight of connections in the industry, or maybe even some money exchanged hands, or perhaps she was noticed after covering a track by Kendrick Lamar.
If you guessed the third option, you would be correct. Ward actually covered Lamar on her Eleven Roses tape that was released back in February featuring interpretations of Lamar, Tyler the Creator, Freddie Gibbs and others. Although you don’t win a prize or anything like that for guessing correct, you do get to listen to the new track “Cryin’ Wolf” from ZZ Ward’s upcoming Till The Casket Drops album, out October 16th and now available for pre-order via iTunes.
This one will leave you clapping your hands and tapping your feet. It’s a great jam.
