CutThroatKid – Hold Me (Audio)

Kicking off the new month in style, Nashville producer & DJ CutThroatKid put his typical dubstep bangers on the back-burner in favor of a minimalist approach for his new track “Hold Me.” Revolving around basic looped vocals, the song exhibits an increased sense of patience that CTK’s usual hyper-speed pieces overlook; so much so that the song initially seems a little underwhelming. Letting the track play out however, its repetition gradually lends it a subtle and inviting sound that remains consistent as “Hold Me” runs its course. For more from CTK, check out his work on Kaby’s Seasonal Flavors mixtape which dropped this past February.
