Cold Specks – Winter Solstice (Video)

Cold Specks is Al Spx, a 24 year-old Canadian singer-songwriter who is concerned about her parents’ approval of her career choice and now uses the pseudonym instead. Spx’s parents held a vision of their daughter attending law school but instead we now have Cold Specks, a beautiful project filled with soul. “Winter Solstice” is the first video (just premiering on Rolling Stone) from Cold Specks’ amazing debut album, “I Predict A Graceful Expulsion,” out May 22nd. Just listened to the entire album on my way back into the office (thanks Mute!) and i’ll easily provide my co-sign for the project. Everyone else listening in my office right now will likely feel the same.
