David Bowie – Space Oddity (D’Angelo Cover) (Video)

D’Angelo is the Dr. Dre , Guns and Roses (up until the god awful Chinese Democracy Album) and Lauryn Hill of Neo-Soul. It’s been 12 years since his last album and fans have been waiting. In a weird twist last night D’Angelo performed in Paris and the footage was brought to you by ?uestlove. While D’Angelo played fan favorites what really struck a chord with us over here at Break on a Cloud is the near flawless cover of David Bowie’s Masterpiece “Space Oddity”. Three things are made clear from the perfomance:
1) D’Angelo still has it
2) D’Angelo needs to cover more classics.
3)It might not be a new album atleast it’s somewhat new D’Angelo and hopefully it’s the light at the end of the tunnel.
